New Recruit Workshops

In this workshop Mark and Kellene present easy, straightforward tools and insights on how to navigate the many challenges facing the probationary Firefighter and partner at home. Not only will you will hear the perspective of Mark the Firefighter, but Kellene, the spouse at home will also share her essential perspective and show how it completes the loop for strength and resiliency in a fire couples relationship.

Couples Workshops

When speaking to the established fire service couples outside of the probationary period Mark and Kellene discuss the challenges of shift work, sleep deprivation, coming home after shift, family care to include children and parents, with a glimpse at financial health challenges and their overarching effects on the relationship. Mark and Kellene also share their story of 32 years together and how much a loving relationship plays a key role in the career success of the firefighter

Health and Resiliency workshops

As a health coach and Certified Sports Nutrition Advisor, Mark brings to the forefront the many different aspects that make up an optimal picture of health and resilience for the First Responder. He offers a fresh new view on what it takes to make it through this profession without injury and disease. Mark discusses sleep deprivation, the many benefits of exercise and supplementation, along with several hacks to help reach for better health.
